ABOUT BEAR

Bear Designs was started in early 1991 in my parents’ garage in suburban Bass Hill. Within a few months, a larger workspace and factory was required hence our first premises at Childs Rd, Chipping Norton. This property served us well until our next move in 2002 to our current address of a larger, more suited and easily accessible workshop in Mitchell Rd, Moorebank.

Over the past 30 years the signage landscape has changed dramatically, with brushwork taking a step back to vinyl cut lettering and now in the past ten years or so, digitally printing has come leaps and bounds.

At Bear Designs we take pride in having a traditional signwriting heritage which is still practised today, however we are ever mindful of the growing need to “move with the times”, therefore our premises boasts some pretty cool toys in our quest to make you, the customer some of the best signs going around.

Our governing body; the Sign & Graphics Association of Australia holds their awards every 2 years and we have been very privileged to have won many awards over the years. We have also participated in quite a few vehicle wrap contests against other states and we were selected as Australia’s representative Sign Company to take on the pesky Kiwis!
